This summer we are hosting a series of suppers to imagine a fresh kind of spiritual conversation, one that isn’t defined by what polarizes us, but by what draws us near. One that doesn’t start with theological premises, but starts with a shared meal, laughter, a little dash of hope, and the practice of Communion.
Because we have limited seating, we are asking that everyone RSVP.
Adults Only (we love your kids but can’t accommodate them all in one place…)
Supper Provided, so RSVP is required so we can be prepared. Feel free to share with others you think would love to join us.
What is it?
A Sunday-night supper gathering of people who are interested in fresh ways of talking about faith and Jesus.
Who is it?
It's a mix of folks from lots of spiritual and religious backgrounds: evangelical, Catholic, liberal, conservative, in the church, out of church. We wanted to build a time that people who were hungry for better conversation about Jesus and life could get together. We hope different people come each time.
How does it work?
It's supper, getting to know people, and some structured conversations about faith. It's different every time.
If I haven't been before will I feel out of the loop?
No way. We're trying to structure each supper so that it stands on its own. We know people have complicated schedules and so don't ever want people to feel like they're missing out by not being able to be at one.
What's the goal of all this?
The conversations we have together on Sunday nights ARE the goal. We want to spend intentional time with people who are hungry for more in life and believe that Jesus has something to do with that.
